Maryland Humanities is the state’s affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. It awards grants to museums, libraries, historical societies and community groups, and runs programs including Maryland History Day, One Maryland One Book, Museum on Main Street and Maryland’s semiquincentennial (MD250) humanities work.
