Five rock-cut sacred complexes and their burial grounds reflect the distinctive Sufi traditions, ancestor veneration, and pilgrimage culture of the Mangystau and Ustyurt landscapes.

UNESCO World Heritage property 1760; inscribed 2026 under criteria (ii), (iii). Heritage type: Cultural. This is a serial property with multiple component locations.
