Set on a Pacific-facing bluff, the Eames House is the historic home and studio of Charles and Ray Eames. It preserves their original collection—prototype furniture, artwork, and found objects like shells and stones alongside pieces by Noguchi, Nelson, and Thonet. The adjacent studio pairs original items with exhibitions on the Eameses’ design legacy.A full member of Historic Artists’ Homes and Studios, the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s network of artists’ homes and studios open to the public.
