The Aquarium of the Bay’s mission is to protect, restore and inspire conservation of the San Francisco Bay and its watershed. Visitors experience marine life within naturalistic habitats and explore local and global environmental challenges. The work of the Aquarium has natural connections with the conservation efforts of many Smithsonian programs, including the National Zoological Park.
