Our Founder
IDbGLAM was founded by John Suau, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the museum and cultural sector. John's extensive background includes significant roles at the American Alliance of Museums, the Smithsonian Institution, the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums, and the DC History Center.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, John has worked internationally, promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) in the GLAM sector. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial and Product Design from the University of Iowa, study abroad experience in Florence, Italy, and a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from The American University in Washington, DC, John brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to IDbGLAM.
