Welcome to the William J. Clinton Presidential Library & Museum, part of the Presidential Library System of the National Archives and Records Administration.
The museum collection at the Clinton Presidential Library includes over 100,000 objects and works of art. The Clinton family received gifts from everyone imaginable including citizens of the United States and foreign heads of state. The collection also includes objects collected by the museum since President Clinton left office, including those related to his life and presidency and items from his campaigns for President.
Staff in the museum department work daily to catalog, re-house, photograph, and monitor the condition of all of the artifacts in the collection. Their work ensures that the collection will be accessible for generations to come, while serving as a physical time capsule of the Clinton administration.
The exhibits at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum tell the story of President Clinton’s life and the Clinton Presidency. The permanent exhibits, located on all three floors of the museum, present the story of President Clinton’s life before becoming president, during his terms in office, as well as his post-presidential work. Temporary exhibits explore a variety of topics related to the life and times of President Clinton, as well as current issues and special interests.
